A Centralia funeral home director who was subject to a complaint that his embalming room looked like a “scary, filthy freak show” agreed to a permanent revocation of his license.
A proposal by Rep. Brad Christ would set up a state fund to help Missourians cover adoption expenses. Donors to the fund would receive a state tax credit.
“This is essentially a property rights issue, a landlord should not be forced to retain tenants without compensation against their will,” Trent said during an earlier committee hearing.
In a 2-1 decision, the Western District Court of Appeals ordered the dismissal of a case challenging rules written in 2019 to limit legislative records subject to the Sunshine Law.
