Police say a a marijuana deal led to the shooting that killed two teens and injured another in south St. Louis County Monday. At least one suspect attends Oakville High.
"It can be frustrating for council members when a department director does not always have the answer to the questions on the spot," Sam Page's spokesman in said a statement.
At least one recent criminal case in this north St. Louis County suburb was dismissed because newly hired police officers were acting as law enforcement without having active licenses.
The shooting happened about 1:15 p.m. near an apartment complex. Officers were called to the 5600 block of Chalet Hill Drive, St. Louis County police spokeswoman Vera Clay said.
