ALTON - Oasis Women’s Center has a new executive director. Following long-time director Margarette Trushel’s passing in June, the center has hired Jenna Giess to fill the role. JERSEYVILLE – A Jerseyville man with multiple prior convictions faces new charges after allegedly threatening the same victim from a prior kidnapping case via phone calls and text messages, then attempting to flee from police.
